Destination for Education is led by five Pathway Providers who prepare international students for study at British Universities: Cambridge Education Group, INTO, Kaplan, Navitas and Study Group.

Destination for Education is supported by a broad coalition of organisations who want to see education continue as a British export success.

The Problem

Britain is losing out to foreign rivals in the competition for international students. International competition has never been so strong, and UK universities do not have the freedom they need to compete.

The value of International Students

Education is one of the UK’s biggest services exports, and one that has significant growth potential. International students generate £25.8bn a year for the economy, supporting over 200,000 jobs across the UK.

International students enhance domestic students’ learning experiences and add to the vibrancy of our higher education institutions. They also make an essential financial contribution to universities, supporting investment in world-class facilities, ground-breaking research, and bursaries to help British students who might otherwise be unable to afford to attend university.
